You can install the Apstra solution on a virtual machine (VM) or bare-metal server. It connects and manages devices via agents that are installed either on or off the devices.

During the network design phase, you can define multiple logical devices and racks and assemble them into a template. Create multiple templates and instantiate them together in a virtual data center to create a blueprint for your entire network. Additional details such as rack types, routing policies, EVPN-VXLAN, IPv4, IPv6, and other resources can be allocated to each template and associated with compatible physical device profiles.
